At Quest Press / MSFMP, we are unwavering in our commitment to the principles of Open Access. We believe that removing financial barriers to both publishing and reading is essential for the equitable and rapid dissemination of scientific knowledge. This policy details our unique approach to funding high-quality, open-access publishing without imposing Article Processing Charges (APCs) on authors.
1. Our Gold Open Access Model with Full APC Waiver
All journals published under the Quest Press / MSFMP imprint operate on a Gold Open Access model. This means:

Free Access for Readers: Every published article is immediately, permanently, and freely available online for anyone to read, download, copy, and distribute in accordance with our licensing terms.

Free Publishing for Authors: To ensure this model is truly accessible, we currently charge no Article Processing Charges (APCs) for any accepted manuscript. The significant costs associated with professional publishing—including rigorous peer-review management, editorial and production services, online platform hosting, digital preservation, indexing, global promotion, and author support—are fully absorbed by the publisher.
Our Core Commitment: No author is required to pay a fee to publish in any of our journals.
2. APC Waiver Details
Under our current policy, a full waiver of all publication fees is automatically and unconditionally granted for all articles accepted for publication, regardless of their origin, funding status, or the author's institutional affiliation.

Policy Review: While our current policy offers a full waiver to all authors, Quest Press / MSFMP reserves the right to review and adjust its APC funding model in the future to ensure long-term sustainability. Any proposed changes will be communicated transparently with ample advance notice.

Editorial Discretion: Decisions regarding the identification of "High-Quality Articles" eligible for the waiver under Category 3 are made at the sole discretion of the journal's Editorial Office and are final.
